The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced that pavement repair operations will take place at the main flyover bridge entrance to Kansas City International Airport. This work is scheduled for Monday, February 17, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., leading to several lane closures. Although there will not be a complete closure, drivers may face delays during this period. The department noted that all activities are weather-dependent.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution in work zones. According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, "Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing." They also mentioned that work zones might involve "short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway."
