Route DD in Barton County will be closed for pipe replacement from February 18 to 21. The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) announced that the closure will affect the section between Northwest 50th Lane and Northwest 36th Lane, northwest of Lamar. The work is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
During these hours, all lanes of Route DD will be closed where crews are working. However, the road will remain open during nighttime hours. While drivers can access driveways and entrances at either end of the work zone, they will not be able to travel through it.
No signed detours are planned, so drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes. MoDOT advises that signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone.
