The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced upcoming highway maintenance work scheduled for Northeast Missouri from February 10 to February 21, 2025. Details of the planned roadwork can be accessed via the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

Weather conditions may impact the schedule, and additional moving operations could occur throughout the region. MoDOT advises drivers to ensure safety by buckling up, avoiding phone use, reducing speed, and being cautious in work zones.

In Macon County, Route K will experience closures on several dates. On February 10, it will be closed for culvert replacement from Route M to Route KK between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The following day, February 11, closures will occur from Route KK to Kennedy Street during the same hours. Further closures are scheduled from February 13-14 and again from February 18-21 for work between Kennedy Street and Routes DD/AA.

Marion County will also see roadwork on Route K from February 10-14. This section will be closed for brush cutting operations between Route KK and CR 218 daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
