Missouri commission awards contracts for Northeast District bridge projects

During its regular meeting on February 5, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for bridge projects in the Northeast District.

A $2.7 million contract was given to Bleigh Construction Company for bridge replacement projects in Adair County at two locations: Route E over Bear Creek, 1.6 miles west of Route V near Gibbs, and Route V over North Timber Creek, 0.86 mile south of Missouri Route 6 near Brashear.

Bleigh Construction Company also received an $860,516 contract for a bridge replacement project on Route J over Tiger Fork, 0.6 mile west of Route W near Bethel in Shelby County.

Concrete Strategies, LLC was awarded a $291,672 contract for a bridge rehabilitation project on Route RA over Little Loutre Creek, 0.44 mile west of Route ZZ near Wellsville in Montgomery County.

Further details regarding timelines and traffic impacts will be provided before construction begins.
