The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced maintenance work across the Kansas City region scheduled from January 27 to January 31, contingent on weather conditions.
In Jackson County, U.S. Highway 40 at White Cemetery Road will see a left lane closure on Monday, January 27, between approximately 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., for ditch and drainage work. Similarly, US-40 at Valley View Drive will have a right lane closed on Tuesday, January 28, and Wednesday, January 29, during the same hours for similar maintenance. Route F between U.S. Highway 50 and Zumalt Road will undergo brush cutting with flagging operations on Thursday, January 30, and Friday, January 31.
Lafayette County's Route PP between Brackman Road and St. Louis Street will be fully closed on Monday, January 27, from about 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., to facilitate culvert replacement.
In Pettis County, Route O between Route HH and Route N will experience various sectioned closures from Monday through Friday during daylight hours for brush cutting.
Ray County will see multiple roadworks: Route DD between Ballard Boulevard and Mary Ann Road will have flagging operations on Monday for pavement milling; Route A between Route E and the Caldwell County line will also have flagging operations from Tuesday through Friday for similar work; Missouri Business Highway 10 between Missouri Highway 10 and Missouri Highway 13 will be fully closed from Wednesday to Friday for brush cutting; lastly, Route EE between MO-210 and Franklin Road is set for full closure on Monday and Tuesday for brush cutting activities.
MoDOT reminds motorists to exercise caution in work zones as not all appear alike. They may include short-term temporary lane closures for quick repairs or debris removal.
