Today, the NFIB Missouri PAC has endorsed Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe for Governor of Missouri. The endorsement was made at a campaign event held at Red Wheel Bike Shop, a small business and member of NFIB in Jefferson City.

NFIB State Director Brad Jones expressed support for Kehoe, stating, “Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe has always been a friend to small business. As a long-time NFIB member and small business owner, Mike understands the challenges our business community faces. He knows what it’s like to sign both sides of a check and has carried that perspective into public office." Jones highlighted Kehoe's consistent backing of policies that benefit family-owned businesses amid ongoing inflation concerns.

Lt. Governor Kehoe responded to the endorsement by saying, “I’m humbled to receive the support of Missouri’s small business community with this endorsement.” He promised to bring his experience as a businessman to his potential role as governor, focusing on fostering growth for family-owned businesses in Missouri.

Early voting in Missouri starts on September 24, with voter registration closing on October 19. Election Day is set for November 5. Additional details on voter registration can be found on the Secretary of State’s website.

The endorsement signifies strong grassroots support from small businesses across the state for Kehoe's gubernatorial campaign. Small business owners are noted for their high voter turnout and efforts in encouraging others to participate in elections.

NFIB bases its political endorsements on candidates' stances and track records concerning key issues affecting small businesses.
