Cori Bush, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Missouri's 1st district since 2021, has recently expressed her views on various legislative matters through social media. Known for her active engagement in political discourse, Bush addressed issues ranging from U.S. foreign policy to domestic legislation.

On November 20, 2024, Congresswoman Cori Bush tweeted about the conditions under which nations receiving U.S. humanitarian aid should be allowed to receive U.S. weapons. She stated, "The law is clear: no nation blocking U.S. humanitarian aid can receive U.S. weapons." Bush emphasized the responsibility of Congress to enforce this law if the President fails to do so and urged senators to support Senator Sanders' resolution.

Later that day, Bush condemned antisemitism and criticized House Resolution 1449 for relying on what she described as a flawed definition that conflates criticism of the Israeli government with antisemitism. She wrote, "I condemn antisemitism and all forms of hatred & bigotry. Period." Bush stressed that opposing hate should not suppress legitimate critiques.

On November 21, 2024, she voiced her opposition to H.R. 9495 in a tweet concerning former President Trump’s administration's approach to dissent and opposition. She declared, "With Trump we face an administration obsessed with silencing dissent and punishing his enemies." The congresswoman argued against empowering such tendencies further through proposed legislation.
