Saint Louis University has announced the addition of several new faculty members for the current academic year. The university welcomes a diverse group of educators and researchers across various disciplines.

Among the new faculty are Nathaniel Carrington, Ph.D., who joins as an assistant professor of political science, and Xiaowen Chen, Ph.D., appointed as an assistant professor of psychology. Pablo Delaporte, Ph.D., will serve as an assistant professor of anthropology, while Shiloh Dietz, Ph.D., is now an assistant professor of sociology.

In the field of mathematics and statistics, Vahan Huroyan, Ph.D., has been named an assistant professor. Elizabeth Jackson, Ph.D., takes on the role of associate professor in philosophy. Joining her in the philosophy department is Can Löwe, Ph.D., as an assistant professor.

The English department welcomes Yea Jung Park, Ph.D., and Jason Molesky, Ph.D., both as assistant professors. In biology, Matthew Rubin, Ph.D., joins as an assistant professor.

Robin Saywitz, Ph.D., enters the political science department as an assistant professor. Reggie Williams assumes the position of associate professor in Black theology.

Qiang Pu, Ph.D., has been appointed as an assistant professor in behavioral science and health equity. Kelly Lane-deGraaf steps into her role as associate professor in epidemiology and biostatistics.

Angela Cecil, Ph.D., becomes associate professor and undergraduate program director for occupational science and occupational therapy. Hossein Rafiei, Ph.D., is now part of nutrition and dietetics as an assistant professor.

Stephanie Chinn joins SLU as a systems librarian with Sarah Pugachev taking on responsibilities as associate dean of collections and strategy.

Deepika Gopukumar, Ph.D., arrives at operations and IT management as an assistant professor while Vineet Sharma directs the Center for Supply Chain Excellence.

Michael Boyle, Ph.D., joins educational leadership as an assistant professor. Twinette Johnson takes over duties as dean of the School of Law with Theodosia Stavroulaki joining law faculty ranks alongside Healther Walter-McCabe.

The medical school expands its team with Attila Ahmad among others including Ryan Albrecht in internal medicine instruction; Issa Alhamoud within pediatrics; Veysel Akgun covering radiology; Mehdia Amini contributing to internal medicine instruction alongside numerous other professionals across different specialties from surgery through dermatology all aiming towards advancing their respective fields under Saint Louis University's banner this year too!
