In a recent development, FleishmanHillard has announced its decision to relocate from Downtown St. Louis to Clayton. This move has prompted a response from Jason Hall, CEO of Greater St. Louis, Inc.

Jason Hall emphasized the urgent need for investment in Downtown St. Louis. "Make no mistake: Downtown needs urgent investment, and it needs that investment now," he stated. He highlighted the financial significance of Downtown, noting that it generates 20% of the city's General Fund revenue annually while receiving only 5% of city expenditures.

Hall urged city leaders to utilize resources such as the Rams settlement funds for transformative investments in downtown infrastructure and development. He also called for investments in North City and parts of Southeast City.

Despite FleishmanHillard's relocation, Hall expressed satisfaction that the firm will remain within the St. Louis metro area. "FleishmanHillard is a worldwide leader in public relations and a proudly St. Louis-founded firm," he remarked, adding that this reflects positively on St. Louis' resurgence as one of the few major global PR headquarters outside New York City.

Hall reiterated the importance of making Downtown safe and attractive using available resources like the Rams settlement dollars and invited collaboration with partners interested in revitalizing the area.
