Ahead of the November 5 general election, the Missouri Chamber PAC has released its complete list of endorsements. The organization aims to support candidates who advocate for job creation and economic growth in the private sector.
"There is a lot at stake on November 5," stated Roger Archibald, chairman of the Missouri Chamber PAC. "During the 2024 legislative session, political dysfunction stalled key business priorities, harming Missouri employers and families. This bipartisan list is made up of individuals who will work tirelessly to defend Missouri’s interests, grow the economy and protect free enterprise in our state."
The group has endorsed Mike Kehoe for governor. "Mike Kehoe is a true business champion," Archibald remarked. "Over the course of his career, Mike has been a leading advocate for addressing Missouri’s child care crisis and improving our state’s transportation infrastructure and legal climate. He will bring a small businessman’s perspective to the state’s top office. The Missouri Chamber PAC strongly supports Mike Kehoe and encourages Missourians to vote for him."
In addition to supporting Kehoe, the PAC has endorsed 54 candidates in competitive races for seats in the Missouri General Assembly:
- Senate Districts: Mike Henderson (3), Barbara Washington (9), Robert Sauls (11), Joe Pereles (15), Kurtis Gregory (21), Jason Bean (25).
- House Districts: Greg Sharpe (4), Peggy McGaugh (7), Josh Hurlbert (8), Bill Falkner (10), Jamie Johnson (12), Sean Pouche (13), Ashley Aune (14), Chris Brown (16), Bill Allen (17), Mike Steinmeyer (20) among others.
The Missouri Chamber PAC functions as the political action arm of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It follows a thorough candidate endorsement process that evaluates candidates' positions on economic issues and incumbent voting records. No endorsements were given in uncontested races.
