St. Louis adjusts roll cart trash collection for Independence Day

The City of St. Louis Refuse Division has announced adjustments to the roll cart trash collection schedule in observance of Independence Day on Thursday, July 4, 2024.

Residents who normally have their solid waste collected on Mondays and recycling on Thursdays will have their trash collected on Monday, July 1, 2024, and recyclables collected on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Those with regular collections on Tuesdays for solid waste and Fridays for recycling will have their trash collected on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, and recyclables collected on Friday, July 5, 2024. Yard waste collection will resume on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.

For more information and a convenient reference guide to the changes in the schedule as well as other services provided by the Refuse Division—including handling remodeling and renovation debris, illegal dumping issues, bulky items (Batteries, Oil, Appliances, Tires), yard waste management including Christmas trees disposal—residents are encouraged to visit the Refuse Division's website. Additionally, details about hazardous waste programs can also be found online.
