The City of St. Louis Refuse Division has issued a reminder to residents with roll carts that the trash collection schedule will be adjusted to accommodate the observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 27, 2024.

Residents who typically have their roll carts collected on Mondays for solid waste and Thursdays for recycling will instead have their trash collected on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, and recyclables collected on Thursday, May 30, 2024.

Similarly, residents who usually have their roll carts collected on Tuesdays for solid waste and Fridays for recycling will receive trash collection services on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, and recyclables will be collected on Friday, May 31, 2024.

The yard waste collection is set to resume on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. For further information or queries about Remodeling and Renovation, Illegal Dumping, Bulky and B.O.A.T. Items (Batteries, Oil, Appliances, Tires), Yard Waste and Christmas Trees as well as Recycling procedures can be found at the Refuse Division website. Residents are also encouraged to explore the program for hazardous waste.
