The St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) has announced the upcoming event, Accommodation for Success '24, aimed at bridging opportunities for employers and job seekers with disabilities. Scheduled for March 22, 2024, at the St. Louis Community College - Forest Park Campus Student Center, the event is a collaborative effort with various workforce development boards.

Fredrecka McGlown, Executive Director of SLATE, expressed the significance of the event, stating, "Each year, one of the Local Workforce Development Boards is charged with the task of leading this remarkable event, and the City of St. Louis-SLATE is proud to serve as this year's host."

The event consists of two parts, with the morning session focusing on educating employers through workshops covering essential topics such as legal insights, accommodations, and firsthand experiences. The afternoon session provides a networking opportunity for job seekers with potential employers committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
