The St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) has announced the upcoming event "Accommodation for Success '24," aimed at bridging opportunities for employers and job seekers with disabilities. Scheduled for March 22, 2024, at the St. Louis Community College - Forest Park Campus Student Center, the event will focus on educating employers and providing networking opportunities for job seekers committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
Fredrecka McGlown, Executive Director of SLATE, expressed the importance of the event, stating, "Each year, one of the Local Workforce Development Boards is charged with the task of leading this remarkable event, and the City of St. Louis-SLATE is proud to serve as this year's host." McGlown emphasized the goal of providing education, accommodations, and empowerment for both employers and job seekers with disabilities.
