The City of St. Louis Department of Personnel has announced that it will be hosting two job fairs in an effort to fill 300 summer positions within the city. The job fairs are scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 2, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Wohl Recreation Center, and on Saturday, March 9, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis - South City campus.

According to a statement released by the Department of Personnel, the purpose of these job fairs is to provide job seekers with an opportunity to learn more about the available summer positions and to directly interact with hiring managers. The city is specifically looking to hire individuals for roles such as lifeguards, recreation assistants, and utility workers.

The Department of Personnel staff will be present at the job fairs to assist individuals in completing job applications on-site. It is important to note that a completed application is a requirement for consideration for any of the city positions, and city residency is not mandatory.

In a call to action, Dr. E. Anthony Byrd Sr. of the Department of Personnel encouraged all those interested in employment opportunities with the City of St. Louis to apply through the official website at stlouis-mo.gov/jobs. For further inquiries or information regarding the job fairs, individuals can reach out to Dr. Byrd directly at (314) 622-4308 or via email at ByrdA@stlouis-mo.gov.
