New Health & Wellness Summit to address key workplace issues

A new Health & Wellness Summit is set to be held in Missouri on April 18, 2024, aimed at addressing key workplace issues and promoting a healthier and more productive workforce. The summit will take place at the Drury Inn & Suites St. Louis Brentwood and will feature essential strategies to help companies achieve their objectives.

Among the topics to be discussed at the summit are creating a culture of wellness, addressing mental health and substance use struggles, mindfulness in the workplace, and innovative wellness strategies from leading employers in Missouri. The event is designed to benefit company leaders, human resources staff, and health and wellness professionals.

According to Ashley Schwab, director of conference development, "Creating a culture of wellness and addressing mental health and substance use struggles are crucial components for companies striving to enhance the well-being of their workforce."

Chamber members are encouraged to participate in the summit for a fee of $175, with an optional QPR suicide prevention training available for an additional $50. Sponsorship opportunities for the event range from $1,000 to $10,000, with current sponsors including the Chamber Benefit Plan, Delta Dental of Missouri, Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance, UnitedHealthcare of the Midwest, and Home State Health.
