St. Paul home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in St. Paul rose by $25,100 while total sales increased by 85.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $195,000 - a 14.8% increase over the $169,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in St. Paul in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,877, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
