St. Paul home prices fall in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in St. Paul fell by $60,750 while total sales increased by 91.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $209,000 - a 22.5% decrease over the $269,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in St. Paul in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,877, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
