St. Peters home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in St. Peters rose by $5,000 while total sales increased by 9.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 425 homes sold, with a median sale price of $188,000 - a 2.7% increase over the $183,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 389 homes sold in St. Peters in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in St. Peters for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,268, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
