St. Louis extends pool hours through mid-August

The City of St. Louis Department of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry announced today that all city outdoor pools will remain open from noon to 6 p.m. daily through Sunday, August 18.

Beginning August 24, they will be open on weekends at the same times (noon to 6 p.m.) through the traditional end of the pool season, Labor Day.

The city has three outdoor pools in operation: the Chambers Park Pool, located at 3115 Franklin Avenue in the Grand Center neighborhood; the Fairgrounds Park Pool, located at 4011 Natural Bridge Avenue; and the Marquette Park Pool located at 4025 Minnesota in Dutchtown.
