A man from Jennings, Missouri, identified as Ahmod Samez Moore, 28, has pleaded guilty to committing two carjackings in October, as reported on Thursday. Moore admitted to the crimes, including brandishing a firearm, during the incidents that took place in 2023.

According to the details disclosed, Moore confessed to robbing an acquaintance and stealing his 2015 Kia Optima at gunpoint on October 5, 2023. Additionally, five days later, Moore was involved in another carjacking in St. Louis, where he stole a 2003 GMC Envoy from a man.

During the first carjacking incident, Moore encountered the owner of the Kia at a liquor store and requested a ride due to alleged financial difficulties. However, the situation escalated when Moore pointed a handgun at the victim, leading to a terrifying ordeal where the victim was forced to strip to his underwear before being ordered out of the vehicle.

In the subsequent carjacking, Moore approached the owner of the GMC with a firearm, demanding the victim’s belongings before stealing the vehicle. Subsequent investigations led to the discovery of incriminating evidence, including the stolen items and a firearm, in Moore’s possession.

The case has since been under investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies, including the County Club Hills Police Department, the St. Louis County Police Department, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, and the FBI. Assistant U.S. Attorney Ryan Finlen is overseeing the prosecution of the case.

As a result of his actions, Moore is facing severe penalties for the carjacking and brandishing offenses, with potential prison sentences and fines. Both parties have agreed to recommend a 10-year prison term for Moore, pending the conclusion of legal proceedings.
