St. Louis adjusts trash collection schedule for Juneteenth observance

The City of St. Louis Refuse Division has announced an adjustment to the roll cart trash collection schedule in observance of Juneteenth Day on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

Residents who typically have their solid waste collected on Mondays and recycling on Thursdays will see their trash collected on Monday, June 17, 2024, and recyclables collected on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Those who usually have their solid waste collected on Tuesdays and recycling on Fridays will have their trash collected on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, and recyclables collected on Friday, June 21, 2024.

Yard waste collection is set to resume on Wednesday, June 26th.

For further details and answers to questions regarding remodeling and renovation waste disposal, illegal dumping, bulky items (including batteries, oil, appliances, tires), yard waste and Christmas trees disposal as well as recycling information and hazardous waste programs, residents are encouraged to visit the Refuse Division website.
