Sporting Kansas City announced on May 1 important information for fans attending the Kids Day match against the Seattle Sounders at Sporting Park this Saturday.
The club highlighted that due to construction near Sporting Park, a portion of Village West Parkway by the I-70 and 110th Street exit is currently closed. Fans are encouraged to review maps to plan their arrival accordingly.
Saturday’s game will begin at 1:30 PM Central Time and features special Kids Day activities before kickoff. Visitors can participate in activations on the Sporting Plaza and shop exclusive merchandise such as the Peanuts x Sporting KC Collection and a special Kids Day scarf. There will also be a $2 discount on the El Jimador Kickoff Cooler concession item during the event.
Fans are reminded that pyrotechnics and strobe lighting effects will be used during the match, which may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions or light sensitivity. Supporter Stand ticket holders and season ticket members can enjoy prematch specials in the Budweiser Brew House.
New entry procedures include GFiber Fast Lanes, designed to speed up access into Sporting Park. The stadium enforces a clear bag policy, with only clear bags measuring up to 12” x 12” x 6” allowed after inspection. All tickets are mobile-only via SeatGeek Account Manager, and screenshots of tickets will not be accepted at entry gates. Parking details are available online, and all transactions inside Sporting Park are now cashless.
Amazon Just Walk Out technology is available exclusively at one east-side SportingStyle store location in section 131, allowing fans to self-service shop without waiting in line or needing an Amazon account. Additionally, opposing team colors or gear are not permitted in the Supporter Stand; violators may have their seats relocated.
Smoking—including e-cigarettes—and smokeless tobacco use is prohibited throughout Sporting Park. For more information about stadium policies or accommodations, visitors can consult the venue’s A-Z Guide.
