Sporting Kansas City released its latest player availability report on April 17 ahead of the team’s upcoming match against the Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place. The report, published on SportingKC.com and presented by Saint Luke’s, provides status updates for both teams as they prepare for Friday night’s game.

The report matters to fans and observers because it details which players will be available or sidelined due to injuries, potentially impacting team performance during this key road swing against the Supporters’ Shield leaders.

According to the official Player Status Report submitted prior to the match, Sporting Kansas City has made just one change from last week: midfielder Manu Garcia is now listed as questionable with a knee injury. Defender Zorhan Bassong (hamstring), goalkeeper Stefan Cleveland (ankle), defender Wyatt Meyer (ankle), and goalkeeper Ryan Schewe (hand) remain out for Sporting Kansas City.

For the Vancouver Whitecaps, no players are listed as questionable. However, several are ruled out: defender Sam Adekugbe (Achilles), midfielder Ryan Gauld (knee), defender Belal Halbouni (knee), defender Ralph Priso (hamstring), defender Sebastian Schonlau (hamstring), and defender Ranko Veselinovic (knee).

Kickoff is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Central Time with actual kick at 9:40 p.m. The match will be available via streaming on Apple TV and broadcast locally on Sports Radio 810 WHB and La Grande 1340 AM.
