Polk County Sheriff’s Office reports incidents and jail bookings for May 1

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office released a summary of recent incidents and jail bookings on May 1. The report includes various calls and responses handled by deputies across the county.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies conducted multiple traffic stops in areas including Hwy 32/S 147th Rd. in Bolivar, Hwy 123/Hwy T in Aldrich, and N Redel Pl/E Division St. in Bolivar. Deputies also responded to several animal-related calls, such as cows being out near S 115th Rd/E 473rd Rd. in Bolivar.

Other reported incidents included a physical assault on the 100 block of S Bolivar Rd. in Humansville, a juvenile complaint on the 400 block of W Porter Ln. in Bolivar, and suspicious activity on the 500 block of W Fisher St. in Humansville.

Deputies served civil paperwork at multiple locations throughout Bolivar, including W College St., University Dr., E Jefferson St., E Division St., as well as at Hwy O in Dunnegan. Additional responses involved well-being checks on Hwy 64 near Halfway and Hwy 123 in Aldrich; a disturbance on S 50th Rd. in Humansville; a law medical call on S 227th Rd. in Louisburg; trespassing on W Lewis St. in Pleasant Hope; and a careless or imprudent driver report from E 380th Rd. in Dunnegan.

The sheriff’s office regularly releases these reports to inform residents about law enforcement activities within Polk County.
