Jon Hamm to speak at Saint Louis University’s May 2024 commencement

Jon Hamm, the Emmy-award-winning actor known for his roles in “Mad Men” and “30 Rock,” will address graduates at Saint Louis University’s May 2024 commencement ceremony. Hamm’s career spans both drama and comedy, having earned three Emmy nominations for his guest appearances on “30 Rock” from 2009 to 2012. He has also hosted “Saturday Night Live” three times.

Fr. P. Maria Joseph Christie, S.J., a Jesuit priest and Secretary for Higher Education of the Society of Jesus, works in Rome advising the Superior General on higher education matters. Fr. Christie holds an MBA and a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Decision Sciences.

Susan E. Klepper, Ph.D., and William M. Klepper, Ph.D., are alumni who met during their first year at Saint Louis University, graduating in 1966 with degrees in physical therapy and biology respectively. William furthered his education at SLU with a Master’s Degree in Education in 1967 and a doctorate in 1975, serving as Associate Dean of Students from 1969 to 1971.

Susan pursued her advanced studies at Hahnemann University and Drexel University before joining Columbia University Medical Center’s faculty after earning her doctorate.
