Greater St. Louis, Inc. has announced that applications are now open for the 2024-2025 cohort of its Fellows Experience program. The initiative aims to drive inclusive economic growth in the St. Louis metro by offering a transformative leadership development experience for professionals of color.

Participants in the Fellows Experience have the opportunity to explore their value, reignite their passion, chart their own course, and discover new possibilities in both their personal and professional lives. The program is designed to empower individuals to become impactful business and community leaders.

Reflecting on his experience, Chris Carroll, a past participant of the program, shared, “The knowledge and confidence I’ve gained from the Fellows Experience helped inspire me to take the next step in my career, level up, and pursue C-Suite opportunities, ultimately landing the Consumer and Business Banking Market Executive role for US Bank.”

Since its establishment in 2006, the Fellows program has seen over 1,200 individuals complete the program, with 90% of them remaining in the St. Louis metro area. Notable statistics from the program include 70% of Fellows being promoted within two years, 26% being elected to boards or appointed to committees, and participants contributing 1,600 hours of community service annually.

The program, which runs from August 2024 through September 2025, features monthly full-day sessions, a three-day retreat, and optional after-hours events. Applications are being accepted until May 17, 2024, with eligibility criteria including a minimum of seven years of employment, demonstrated community leadership, and a commitment to professional development.
