Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has announced the appointment of Dan Engemann as the new Director of Policy and Outreach for his office. Engemann will oversee policy, legislation, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Attorney General Bailey expressed enthusiasm about the addition to his team, stating, “I couldn’t be more excited to have Dan join my senior team. Dan will be an incredible asset to the Office, and I look forward to working with him to better serve citizens across the state.”

Engemann’s previous role was as Director of Regulatory Affairs for Missouri Farm Bureau. His career also includes serving as Chief of Staff to Senator Karla Eslinger in the Missouri Senate and District Director for Senate President Pro Tem Dave Schatz. He has experience working with Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer, leading the Coalition to Protect the Missouri River, and contributing at both the Missouri Soybean Association and the Missouri Department of Agriculture.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness with a minor in political science from the University of Missouri.

Engemann commented on his new position: “My whole career has been devoted to public policy and constituent service, and I’m proud to be joining Attorney General Bailey and his talented team to serve Missourians in this new capacity. I’m excited to work alongside them to make a difference in the lives of our constituents.”

Engemann lives near Hermann on a family farm with his wife Amanda and their children.
