University of Central Missouri Mules Golf received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II Central/Midwest Regional Championship, according to an April 26 announcement. The event is scheduled for May 7-9 at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan.

This marks the 32nd consecutive year that Central Missouri has qualified for the NCAA Division II postseason. The team will compete alongside nine other programs from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, and Great American Conference as part of the Central Region.

The regional championship will feature ten teams from each of the Central and Midwest regions, along with four individual qualifiers per region. In total, twenty teams and ninety individuals are set to participate in this super regional event. Six programs from the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association earned berths this year: Central Missouri, Central Oklahoma, Washburn, Pittsburg State, Missouri Western (MoWest), and Arkansas-Fort Smith.

Central Missouri enters the tournament following a runner-up finish at the MIAA Men’s Golf Championship. At least three teams and two individual student-athletes not on qualifying teams from each region will advance to finals play scheduled for May 18–22 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. Additional team berths will be determined based on prior year results with a maximum of seven teams allowed per region.

The full list of participating schools includes representatives from both regions as well as selected individual competitors.
