Central Missouri Jennies golf team in fifth after day two of MIAA Championship

The No. 37 Central Missouri Jennies Golf team is in fifth place after the second day of the MIAA Championships, according to an April 21 update from the team. The tournament is being held at Mules National Golf Club.

The Jennies finished Tuesday with a score of 42-over par, bringing their total to 68-over for a combined score of 628 over the first two rounds (306, 322).

Freshman Hannah Mottert led Central Missouri and is tied for 13th overall at 14-over par with rounds of 74 and 80. Ansley Giesselmann follows closely, tied for 16th at 16-over par after shooting consecutive rounds of 78.

Kiki Bruner posted a score of twelve over par across both days (76, 82), placing her in a tie for twenty-fourth. Libby Green is tied for twenty-ninth at twenty over par (78,82). Reece Nimmo entered as a substitute on Tuesday and shot an eighty-two in the second round to complete scoring for UCM.

The Jennies are scheduled to return Wednesday morning at eight thirty for the final round of the championship. The last hole will be broadcast live and free on The MIAA Network.
