Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey announced that his office has filed felony charges against Andrew Hall, 42, for allegedly defrauding consumers through his business, Trophy Contracting. Hall faces two counts of Deceptive Business Practices for activities in the City of St. Louis.

“As Attorney General, I will always hold accountable those who target innocent Missourians,” said Bailey. “My Consumer Protection Unit will continue to work around the clock to obtain justice for any consumer who has been ripped off.”

The charges claim that between July 2021 and September 2022, Hall’s business falsely promised home renovations in exchange for upfront payments. After receiving payments, Hall reportedly performed minimal demolition work before ceasing all further activity and communication with the victims and refusing to issue refunds.

Consumers who believe they have been scammed are encouraged to file a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office by calling the Consumer Protection hotline at (800) 392-8222 or submitting a complaint online at ago.mo.gov.

Attorney General Bailey emphasized that the charges against Hall are allegations and that he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
